R&R's in-house engineering skill covers all data storage, multi-vendor parts, peripheral and component requirements.

Our engineering capability allows us to offer this service as a potential client solution and also enables R&R to recertify and qualify globally sourced parts prior to despatch.

About the services

R&R has outstanding expertise in repairing new and old product models to OEM standards, operating a "no fix no fee policy".

Repair paths include:

  • Straightforward repair
  • NFF filtering
  • Screen and clean

  • Kitting (Engineering, Networking, Preventative Maintenance, Tool Kits, Customer Specific Kits)
  • Data cleansing (all data-bearing devices processed receive HMG Infosec Standard 5 Manual “S” SSL 2 magnetic data purge or destruction)

Additionally we will manage any repair that is outside our engineering expertise.

Repair Management

All repair orders are managed and monitored within our custom order management system by a dedicated account manager.

Our custom system can easily be adapted to handle and manage specific customer process requirements. The system provides a fine-grained level of tracking information and can also perform custom reporting if needed.

Quality Assured

At R&R, quality is of paramount importance. We operate to exacting standards currently achieving a warranty return rate of <2% and a DOA rate <0.5%.

Our commitment to quality is demonstrated through our certification by BSI to BS EN ISO 9001:2008.

Products quality is further assured and supported with R&R warranty, tech’ support and a highly skilled in-house engineering competency.

The majority of product is 100% yield i.e. a fixed price repair, therefore offering maximum advantage of "lowest cost of ownership" a saving which can be passed onto customers. All repaired items are covered by our comprehensive warranty, 6 months tape product, 12 months all other product.

Our standard turnaround time is 5 working days, though this can be improved upon by taking advantage of one of the following services:

AEX

AEX (Advance Exchange) - We will offer the required part direct from R&R stock, reducing your turn around time to same or next day. Upon receipt, your faulty unit will be repaired and returned to R&R stock.

Express Repair

Express Repair - a 24-hour emergency repair service is available upon request (24-48 hour on Tape).

Call-out

In addition, customers are offered a free of charge 24/7 call-out service that ensures a member of staff will always be available to confirm product availability from stock or a suitable alternative, to the point of courier collection.
