The Hazardous Waste Regulation, which became enforcable from July 2005 is to ensure no electronic equipment from any organisation is disposed of incorrectly otherwise severe penalties have been cited. Our recycling / disposal service will prevent such penalties.

The Directive for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is also due to be in place to reduce the current amount of waste that is created from computers when they are destroyed - the current figures for this kind of waste annually is estimated to be in excess of 126,000 tons from computers, PCs, laptops, systems and networks in the UK alone.
