RoHS and WEEE compliance
R&R are fully compliant with EU Legislation RoHS that became law within EU National States from 1 July 2006.
The main requirement of the RoHS Regulations is that from 1 July 2006 a producer (as defined in the Regulations) may
not put new Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE), containing more than the permitted levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium and
both polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants, on the market in the EU.
Furthermore, electrical and electronic equipment put on the market from 1 July 2006 may only be repaired and/or serviced with "RoHS-compliant" spare parts.
